This was at the end of day number two of a three day hike along the AT in North Carolina and Tennessee. The first day started out well, sun blue sky – about 2 hours into it – the bottom broke out and rained that day, and well into the 2nd day. Rain buckets is more like it – the trail became a stream of water. Soaked is all I have to say – I did learn that water proof boots also hold water very well that runs down your leg into them. People ask, so why do it. Just look at the picture, that what makes it worth it. The feeling of peace.

Funny how life can be this way as well – when we start to get down and feel like it we can’t go on.. Look up – Look around. There is beauty everywhere – during, and after the storms. We are not limited – like the social construct wants us to believe.
